for all Coaches:
......... .Impact of
Coaches on all kids:
..... I have come to a frightening conclusion.
..... I am and you are the decisive element in the
field or gym.
..... It is our personal approach
that creates the climate.
..... It is our daily
mood that makes the weather.
..... As a coach,
we possess tremendous power to make an athlete's life miserable or joyous.
..... We can be the tool of torture or an instrument
of inspiration.
..... We can humiliate or humor,
hurt or heal.
..... In all situations it is
our response that decides whether a crisis will be escalated or de-escalated
..... and an athlete humanized or dehumanized.
..... So Coaches, remember that it is just a game
and your relationship with that individual will last a lifetime.

Make it a great memory forever.

Did ... Coach Ellis ... my prayers and love with all my contacts over the past
40 years.
