These can be used as centers, as practice, or as games with 2 or more players.

Note: If your children or students want, you can have them look at a master sheet with the alphabet or numbers so they can look at it after they are done to see if they did it correctly.   You don't have to do exactly what these ideas say.  You can just have them there in an envelope or folders if your children or students want to practice when they have free time or just want to do it.
 

You can turn these into file folder games if you put double sided tape onto the file folder.  See the directions of Apple Number Game (File Folder).
 

THE ALPHABET

#1
To help children learn their ABC's.

1.  Trace 52 shapes from cookie cutter or use a pattern of your choice.  For example, an apple.  (Use 26 for lower case letters and 26 for upper case letters.)
2.  Cut out the shape you traced.
3.  Write the letter in lower case letters and then upper case letters.
4.  Have the flashcards laminated or use clear contact paper.
5.  Have your children put the ABC's in order.
6.  Have your children say or sing their ABC'S during and after putting them in order. (If they want to.)

Note:  Have lower case and upper case letters in separate envelopes or folders.

To help children learn to write their ABC's.

1.  Trace 52 shapes from cookie cutter or use a pattern of your choice.  For example, an apple.  (Use 26 for lower case letters and 26 for upper case letters.)
2.  Cut out the shape you traced.
3.  Write the dotted letter in lower case letters and then upper case letters.
4.  Draw an object on the opposite side of the card or see the option listed below.
5.  Have the flashcards laminated.
6.  Have your children trace the letters with a pen or marker so that it can be washed off.
7.  Have your children put the ABC's in order.
8.  Have your children say their ABC'S during and after they put them in order. (If they want to.)

Note:  Have lower case and upper case letters in separate envelopes or folders.
